According to the requirements of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association's Notice on Printing and Distributing the <2013 Second Batch of Engineering Construction Association Standards Development and Revision Plan> (Build Standard Association Word [2013] No. 119), China Construction Standard Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. The Technical Specifications for Mechanical Connection of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipeline for Building Drainage, prepared by Shanghai Zuoyi Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. and other units, have been reviewed by the Construction and Municipal Engineering Product Application Branch of the Association, and are now approved for release. It is CECS 440: 2016, which will be implemented from October 1, 2016.

According to the requirements of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association's Notice on Printing and Distributing the <2013 Second Batch of Engineering Construction Association Standards Development and Revision Plan> (Building Standard Association Word [2013] No. 119), the code preparation team is seriously summing up engineering practice experience Based on the relevant domestic and foreign advanced standards and fully soliciting opinions, this regulation was formulated.
This regulation is divided into 6 chapters and 2 appendices. The main contents include: general rules, terminology, pipes, fittings and accessories, design, construction, acceptance, etc.
This regulation is under the centralized management of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association Construction and Municipal Engineering Product Application Branch, and is under the jurisdiction of China Construction Standard Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.
