Announcement on the release of the industry standard "Code for Seismic Design of Urban Bridges"

The Code for Seismic Design of Urban Bridges is now approved as the industry standard, numbered CJJ 166-2011, and will be implemented as of March 1, 2012. Among them, Articles 3.1.3, 3.1.4, 4.2.1, 6.3.2, 6.4.2, 8.1.1, 9.1.3 are mandatory provisions, Must be strictly enforced.
This specification is published by China Construction Industry Press organized by the Standard Quota Research Institute of our Ministry.

Foreword


According to the requirements of the original Ministry of Construction's "Notice on Printing and Distributing the" 1998 Urban Construction and Construction Industry Standard Development and Revision Project Plan "(Build Standard [1998] No. 59) of the Ministry of Construction, the standard preparation team has conducted extensive investigations and studies We have carefully summarized practical experience, made reference to relevant international standards and advanced foreign standards, and compiled this specification on the basis of extensive consultation.
The main technical contents of this specification are: 1. General provisions; 2. Terms and symbols; 3. Basic requirements; 4. Site, foundation and foundation; 5. Earthquake action; Seismic analysis; 7. 8. Seismic calculations; 8. Detailed design of seismic structure; 10. Bridge seismic isolation design; 11. The provisions marked with bold type in this specification are mandatory and must be strictly implemented.
