Announcement of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on the release of the national standard "Code for Fire Protection of Hydropower Engineering Designs"

The “Code for Fire Protection Design of Hydropower Projects” is now approved as the national standard, numbered GB 50872-2014, and will be implemented from August 1, 2014. Among them, 3.0.3, 5.1.2, 5.1.3, 5.2.1, 6.1.2, 6.4.1, 7.0.4, 8.0.3 , 8.0.5, 9.0.7, 10.0.9, 11.2.2, 11.2.5, 11.3.1, 11.3.2, 12.1.1, 12 .1.3, 12.1.10, 12.1.11, 12.2.1, 12.2.2, 12.3.1, 12.3.2 (1), 13.1.1, 13.1.2, 13.2.1 (paragraphs) are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented.

Foreword

This specification is based on the requirements of the Ministry of Construction “Notice on Printing and Distributing <2001-2002 National Standard Development and Revision Plan for Project Construction>” (Build Standard [2002] No. 85), and was designed and designed by hydropower It was prepared by the General Hospital together with relevant units.
During the preparation of this specification, the preparation team conducted in-depth investigations and studies, carefully summarized practical experience, referred to relevant international standards and advanced foreign standards, and extensively solicited opinions from relevant parties, and finally reviewed and finalized it.
This specification is divided into 13 chapters, and the main contents include: general principles, terminology, production fire hazard classification and fire resistance level, plant area planning, plant area (structure) buildings, dams and navigable buildings, outdoor electrical equipment, indoor electrical Equipment, cables, insulation oil and turbine oil systems, fire water supply and fire extinguishing facilities, smoke and smoke extraction, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical.
The provisions in this code marked with bold type are mandatory and must be strictly implemented.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is responsible for the management and interpretation of the compulsory provisions, the Ministry of Public Security and the China Electricity Enterprise Federation are responsible for the daily management work, and the General Administration of Hydropower and Water Conservancy Planning and Design is responsible for the interpretation of specific content.
