Announcement of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on the release of the industry standard "Code for Electrical Design of Educational Buildings"

The "Electrical Design Code for Educational Buildings" is now approved as the industry standard, numbered JGJ 310-2013, and will be implemented from April 1, 2014. Among them, Articles 4.3.3 and 5.2.4 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented.
This specification is published by China Construction Industry Press organized by the Standard Quota Research Institute of our Ministry.

Foreword

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's Notice on Printing and Distributing the "2009 Construction and Construction Standards and Specifications" (Build Standard [2009] No. 88), the standardization team has conducted extensive investigations and studies, and carefully summarized its practical experience. Relevant international standards and advanced foreign standards, and on the basis of extensive consultation, this specification has been compiled.
The main technical contents of this specification are: 1. General provisions; 2. Terms and codes; 3. Campus electrical overall design; 4. Power supply and distribution system; 5. 5. Low-voltage power distribution; 6. Distribution wiring system; 7. 8. Commonly used teaching and experimental equipment power distribution; 8. Electrical lighting; 9. 10. Lightning protection and grounding; 11. Campus information facility system; Campus information application system; 12. 13. Campus public safety system; 14. Seismic safety of electrical equipment; Electrical energy saving.
The provisions marked in bold in this code are mandatory and must be strictly enforced.
