The "Code for Design of Fixed Fire Cannon Fire Extinguishing System" is now approved as the national standard, numbered GB 50338-2003, and will be implemented from August 1, 2003. Among them, 3.0.1, 4.1.6, 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.4, 4.2.5, 4.3.1 (1) (2) (4), 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.3.6, 4.4.1 (1) (2) (4), 4.4.3, 4.4.4 (1 ) (2) (3), 4.4.6, 4.5.1, 4.5.4, 5. 1.1, 5.1. 3, 5.3.1, 5.4.1, 5.4.4, 5.6.1, 5.6.2, 5.7.1, 5.7.3, 6.1.4, Article 6.2.4 (paragraph) is a mandatory provision and must be strictly implemented.

This specification is based on the requirements of the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China Construction Standard [1997] No. 108 "Notice on Printing and Distributing the Revision Plan for the National Standards for Engineering Construction in 1997". Bureau, the Third Navigation Engineering Survey and Design Institute of the Ministry of Communications, Sinopec Shanghai Jinshan Petrochemical Design Institute and other units jointly prepared.
The compilation of this code complies with the relevant national policies on basic construction and the fire prevention policy of “prevention-oriented and combination of prevention and elimination”, and on the basis of summarizing the status quo of scientific research and engineering application of fire extinguisher systems in China, and the experience and lessons learned, it has extensively solicited relevant domestic scientific research. , Design, product production, fire supervision, engineering construction units and other departments, while referring to relevant standards in the United States, Britain, Japan and other developed countries, and finally jointly reviewed and finalized by the relevant departments.
The fixed fire cannon fire extinguishing system is used to protect key areas such as large groups of equipment with large area, high fire danger and more expensive key projects. It can timely and effectively extinguish large regional fires. Large fixed fire extinguishing equipment has its special requirements in fire engineering design.
This specification is divided into six chapters, including general rules, terms and symbols, system selection, system design, system components, electrical, etc.
