Announcement of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on the release of the national standard "Design Standard for Architectural Lighting"

The "Lighting Design Standard for Buildings" is now approved as the national standard, numbered GB 50033-2013, and will be implemented from May 1, 2013. Among them, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.0.4, 4.0.6 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original "Design Standard for Architectural Lighting" GB / T 50033-2001 was abolished at the same time.
This standard is published by China Construction Industry Press organized by the Standard Quota Research Institute of our Ministry.

Foreword

This standard is based on the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's "Notice on Printing and Distributing the" 2009 Project Construction Standard Specification Development and Revision Plan "(Build Standard [2009] 88). The standard "Building Lighting Design Standard" GB / T 50033-2001 was revised and completed.
In the process of compiling this standard, the compiling team has conducted investigations, simulation calculations, and experimental verifications, carefully summarized its practical experience, referred to relevant international standards and advanced foreign standards, and based on extensive consultations, it was finally reviewed and finalized.
This standard is divided into 7 chapters and 5 appendices. The main technical contents include: general rules, terms and symbols, basic regulations, standard lighting values, lighting quality, lighting calculation, and energy saving.
The main technical contents of this revision are:
1. Change the minimum value of the evaluation index of side lighting to the average value of the lighting coefficient; the critical illuminance value of indoor natural light is changed to the design illuminance value of indoor natural light.
2. The scope of the standard has been expanded, and the lighting standard values for exhibition buildings, transportation buildings and sports buildings have been increased.
3. The calculation method corresponding to the average value of daylighting coefficient is given.
4. A new chapter "Lighting and Energy Conservation" has been added and the calculation method of lighting energy saving has been specified.
The provisions marked in bold in this standard are mandatory and must be strictly implemented.
