Announcement of the Ministry of Construction on the release of the industry standard "Code for Architectural Design of Cinemas"

The "Code for Architectural Design of Cinemas" is now approved as the industry standard, numbered JGJ 58-2008, and will be implemented from August 1, 2008. Among them, 3.2.7, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 6.1.2, 6.1.3, 6.1.5, 6.1.6, 6.1.8 Articles 6.1.12, 6.2.2, 7.2.5, 7.3.4 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original "Code for Architectural Design of Cinemas (Trial)" JGJ 58-88 was abolished at the same time.
This specification is published by the China Construction Industry Press organized by the Standard Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction.

The main technical contents of this specification are: 1. General provisions; 2. Terminology; 3. Base and general plane; 4. Architectural design; 5. Acoustic design; 6. Fire protection design; 7. Construction Equipment.
The main technical contents of the revision are: 1. General rules, bases and general plans, architectural design, acoustic design, fire protection design and construction equipment; 2. Added terminology, general rules for building design, interior decoration, noise control, and speaker layout.
The Ministry of Construction is responsible for the management and interpretation of the compulsory provisions, and the editor-in-chief is responsible for the interpretation of specific technical content.
