Announcement of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on the release of the national standard "Anti-corrosion Design Standards for Industrial Buildings"

The Design Standard for Anticorrosion of Industrial Buildings is now approved as the national standard, numbered GB / T 50046-2018, and will be implemented as of March 1, 2019. The original national standard "Code for the Anticorrosive Design of Industrial Buildings" (GB 50046-2008) was repealed at the same time.
This standard is published on the portal website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (www.mohurd.gov.cn) and published by China Planning Press organized by the Standard Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

Foreword

This standard is based on the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's "Notice on Printing and Distributing the" 2014 Project Construction Standards and Specification Development and Revision Plan "" (Build Standard [2013] No. 169). The company completed the revision jointly with the relevant participating units.
During the revision of this standard, the revision team conducted extensive investigations, carried out special discussions and experimental studies, summarized the practical experience of anti-corrosion design of industrial buildings in China in recent years, coordinated with relevant domestic codes, and borrowed from Relevant international standards were finally reviewed and finalized on the basis of extensive consultation.
This standard is divided into 7 chapters and 4 appendices. The main contents are: general principles, terms, basic regulations, structures and components, building protection, structures, materials, etc.
The main contents of this revision include:
1. The corrosiveness grade of gaseous medium was partially revised; when the mass loss value and thickness loss value were used as the corrosion conditions, the corrosiveness grade of steel to gaseous medium and the corrosiveness grade in marine atmosphere were added.
2. Design rules for the useful life of the protective layer have been added.
3. Added technical content and regulations for durability of concrete structures.
4. Replace mandatory provisions with non-mandatory provisions.
5. Adjusted the use conditions of pile foundation under corrosive environment.
6. Added technical regulations for the overall surface layer of vinyl ester resin mortar and the overall storage tank of resin concrete.
7. It has enriched the chemical properties of corrosive media and the anti-corrosion supporting system.
8. Test methods for linear shrinkage of resin mortar and resin concrete have been added.
This standard is managed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Chemical Engineering Branch of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association is responsible for daily management, and China Huanqiu Engineering Co., Ltd. is responsible for the interpretation of specific technical content.
