The "Code for Design of Automatic Fire Alarm Systems" is now approved as the national standard, numbered GB 50116-2013, and implemented as of May 1, 2014. Among them, 3.1.6, 3.1.7, 3.4.1, 3.4.4, 3.4.6, 4.1.1, 4.1.3, 4.1.4 , 4.1.6, 4.8.1, 4.8.8, 4.8.5, 4.8.7, 4.8.8, 6.5.2, 6.7.1, 6 .7.5, 6.8.2, 6.8.3, 10.1.1, 11.2.2, 11.2.5, 12.1.1, 12.2.3 are mandatory The provisions must be strictly implemented. The original "Code for Design of Automatic Fire Alarm Systems" GB 50116-98 was abolished at the same time.

Foreword

This code is based on the requirements of the original Ministry of Construction's "Notice on Printing and Distributing the" 2006 Construction and Construction Standards and Specification Development and Revision Plan (First Batch) "(Build Standard [2006] No. 77). Relevant units have compiled based on a comprehensive revision of the original national standard "Code for Design of Automatic Fire Alarm Systems" GB 50116-98.
During the revision of this code, the revision team followed the relevant national laws, regulations, and technical standards, conducted extensive and in-depth investigations, and carefully summarized the lessons of fire accidents and the practical experience of China's fire automatic alarm system engineering, referring to relevant domestic and foreign standards. Standardization, drawing on advanced scientific research results, extensively soliciting opinions from various relevant units such as design, supervision, construction, product manufacturing, fire supervision, etc., and finally finalized after review.
This specification is divided into 12 chapters and 7 appendices. The main contents include: general rules, terminology, basic regulations, fire control control design, selection of fire detectors, setting of system equipment, automatic fire alarm system for residential buildings, combustible gas detection and alarm system, electrical fire monitoring system, system power supply, wiring, Automatic fire alarm system in typical places.
This revision of the specification is a comprehensive revision. The necessary supplements and modifications were made on the basis of maintaining the basic framework of the original specification and retaining reasonable content, which are mainly reflected in the following four aspects:
1. Added line fire detectors, aspirating smoke fire detectors, combustible gas detectors, area displays, fire emergency broadcasts, gas fire controllers, graphic display devices for fire control rooms, special telephones for fire protection, fire alarm devices, As well as the engineering design requirements of equipment or components such as modules, the specification is more comprehensive and more in line with actual needs.
2. Added engineering design requirements for electrical fire monitoring systems, residential building fire alarm systems, and combustible gas detection and alarm systems.
3. Added engineering design requirements for automatic fire alarm systems used in typical places such as road tunnels, oil tank farms, and cable tunnels.
4. Refine the engineering design requirements for firefighting linkage control to make the code more operable.
The provisions marked with bold type in this specification are mandatory and must be strictly implemented.
