The "Technical Specification for Waterproofing of Underground Engineering" is now approved as the national standard, numbered GB 50108-2008, and will be implemented from April 1, 2009. Among them, Articles 3.1.4, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 4.1.22, 4.1.26 (1,2) and 5.1.3 (paragraphs) are mandatory The provisions must be strictly implemented. The original "Waterproof Technical Specifications for Underground Engineering" GB 50108-2001 was abolished at the same time.

The main contents of this revision are: improving the waterproofing standards for underground engineering with a second-class waterproof rating; adding new waterproof materials and waterproof construction technology; coordinating and harmonizing with relevant domestic and foreign standards; attaching importance to structural durability and environmental protection; eliminating Outdated waterproofing materials, amendments to provisions that do not meet national development requirements.
