The "Technical Detailed Rules for Design and Construction of Highway Soft Ground Embankment" (JTG / T D31-02-2013) is now published as a recommended standard for the highway engineering industry. It has been implemented since May 1, 2013. The original "Soft Ground Embankment of Highway Soft Ground" Design and Construction Technical Specifications (JTJ 017-96) shall be repealed at the same time.
The management and interpretation power of this specification belongs to the Ministry of Transport, and the daily interpretation and management work is the responsibility of the main editor, CCCC First Highway Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd.

Foreword

Since the promulgation and implementation of "Technical Specifications for Design and Construction of Highway Soft Ground Foundation Embankment" (JTJ 017-96), it has played an important role in improving the design and construction technology level of soft soil foundation highways in China and ensuring project quality. With the development of China's highway construction, highway engineering technicians have accumulated rich experience in soft soil foundation treatment and have obtained many research results. Many mature and reliable new theories, new technologies, new materials, and new processes are processed on soft soil foundation It has been promoted and applied, which has greatly improved the technical level of road soft soil foundation treatment. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Transport (formerly the Ministry of Communications) on the “Announcement on the Work Plan for the Preparation and Revision of Highway Engineering Standards in 2001” (Tingdao Zizi [2002] No. 36), CCCC First Highway Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. is the chief editor Units to revise the specification.
During the revision process, the compilation team conducted a comprehensive technical survey of the soft soil-based roads that have been built and under construction nationwide, and made reference to the scientific research results and technical data of soft soil-based treatment in the past decade at home and abroad, and summarized the softness of highways in recent years. The design and construction experience of the ground-based embankment has widely sought the opinions of relevant units and experts in the industry.
The revised rules are divided into 9 chapters, including general rules, terms and symbols, engineering geological survey, stability and settlement calculation, foundation treatment design, embankment design, foundation treatment construction, embankment construction and observation, and experimental engineering. The main amendments are:
(1) Relevant regulations for geological survey of soft soil foundation engineering have been improved.
(2) Improved soft soil identification indicators, settlement and stability design calculation methods, and composite foundation treatment design methods.
(3) Geotechnical foam plastic embankment, cast-in-place foamed lightweight soil embankment, vacuum preloading, cement fly ash crushed stone pile, rigid pile, explosive squeezing, embankment foundation separation wall, dynamic compaction and dynamic compaction replacement, and blowing Design and construction of sand-filled embankment.
