Foreword

4.3.1, 6.1.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.3, 7.1.7, 7.5.3, 8.4.3, 8.4.4 of this standard , 9.1.1, 9.3.1 are mandatory, the rest are recommended.
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB / T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB 14886-2006 "Code for the Installation and Installation of Road Traffic Signals." Compared with GB 14886-2006, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
——Modified the scope of application of this standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2006 edition);
——Modified normative references (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the 2006 edition);
——Delete the definitions of motor vehicle signal lights, directional signal lights, non-motor vehicle signal lights, etc .; modify the minimum vehicle (PCU) as an abbreviation, add the abbreviation LED, BRT; add a safe stop sight distance triangle, a variable guidance lane, Definitions of tidal lanes, pedestrian crossing safety islands, and pedestrian secondary crossings (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2006 edition);
——Added general requirements for signal lamp settings, including the basic requirements for signal lamp installation and installation, signal lamp selection requirements, and display requirements (see Chapter 4 and Appendix A); added motor vehicle signal lamps and directional signal lamps with yellow light duration, flashing Requirements for the frequency of yellow flashing signals and the frequency of green flashing lights of pedestrian crossing signals (see 4.3.4, 4.3.5);
——Modified the conditions of the type of intersection set by the traffic lights (see 5.1.1, 4.2 of the 2006 edition);
——Modified the comprehensive conditions of signal light setting (see 5.1.4, 4.10 of 2006 edition);
——Modify the setting conditions of 7 non-motor vehicle signal lights, pedestrian crossing signal lights, and lane signal lights (see 5.1.5, 5.1.6, 5.2.1, 5.2.2, 2006 version 4.4, 4. 4.5, 4.7 and 4.11);
——Added the setting conditions of signal lights for crossings and ramps (see 5.1.8 and 5.3);
——Modify the combination of signal lights, modify the order of the original 7 signal lights into 2 conventional combinations and 3 special combinations (see Table 5 in 6.1.2 and Table 6 in 6.1.3, 2006 Annual Table 3);
-Added setting conditions for the combination of motor vehicle signal lights, direction indicator signals, non-motor vehicle signal lights and ramp signal lights (see 6.1.4, 6.1.5, 6.1.5, 6.1.7, 6.2, 6.3 and Appendix C). Added special signal lamp setting conditions for signal priority control (see 6.1.6);
——Added the requirement to set multiple signal lamp combinations and the matching use of the signal lamp and the exhaust lamp signal sign (see 7.1.2 and 7.1.5);
——Added requirements for the number of signal light combinations and lane signal lights (see 7.3.2, 7.3.3, 7.3.4, and 7.3.5);
——Modified the requirements for the installation position and quantity of motor vehicle signal lights and direction indicator lights (see 7.4.1.1.1, 7.4.4.1.2 and Appendix F, 7.3.1, 7.3.3 of 2006 edition. 2 and Appendix E);
——Added the requirements for the location of the signal lights at T-shaped intersections and ramps (see 7.4.1.3, 7.4.1.8);
——Modify the setting method of the left turn signal lights and the signal lights of motor vehicle diversion islands (see 7.4.1.6 and 7.4.1.7, 7.3.5 and 7.3 of the 2006 edition) .6);
——Modified the requirements for the installation height of non-motor vehicle signal lights. When using cantilever installation, it can be different from the height of the signal lights that guide the traffic of motor vehicles (see 7.4.2.2.b), 7.4.2 of the 2006 version ;
——Modified the requirements for the installation position of pedestrian crossing signals and lane signals, and increased the setting conditions of pedestrians' secondary crossing signals (see 7.4.3, 7.4.4 and Appendix F9, 7.5, 7.6 and 2006 edition) Appendix E);
——Modified the installation height requirements of motor vehicle signal lights, direction indicators, flashing warning lights and lane signals (see 7.5.1 and 7.5.4, 7.0.1 and 7.10.4 of the 2006 edition) );
——Modify the order of the chapters, and modify the two chapters of the installation method and the orientation of the signal lights into Chapter 7 (see 7.2 and 7.6, Chapters 5 and 8 of the 2006 edition);
——Modify the buried depth requirements for underground cables (see 9.3.3, 10.2.4 of the 2006 edition);
——Modify the depth requirements of the hand well (see 9.3.5, 10.2.6 of the 2006 edition);
——Modified the order of semaphores in the normative appendix, and merged the contents into the semaphore combination form (see 6.1.2 and 6.1.3, Appendix C of the 2006 edition).
