GB / T 18742 "Polypropylene piping system for hot and cold water" is divided into 3 parts:
——Part 1: General rules;
——Part 2: Pipes;
——Part 3: Fittings.
This part is the second part of GB / T 18742.
This section is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB / T 1.1-2009.
This section replaces GB / T 187422.2-2002 "Polypropylene piping system for hot and cold water part 2: pipes". Compared with GB / T 187422.2-2002, the main technical changes are as follows:
——Modify polypropylene pipe material as raw material into polypropylene mixed material as raw material (see Chapter 1);
——Delete the “industrial and civil hot and cold water” and “pipes for systems that do not use water as medium” in the applicable scope (see Chapter 1 of the 2002 edition);
-Added notes of a trade nature (see Chapter 1);
——Added and updated relevant normative references (see Chapter 2);
——Modified "The raw materials used in the production of pipes shall be polypropylene pipe materials that comply with the requirements of GB / T 18742.1" to "The polypropylene blending materials used in the production of pipes shall comply with Chapters 6, 2 of GB / T 18742.1-2017 Chapter 7 requirements (see Chapter 4);
—— “PP-H” is modified to “β-crystalline PP-H” in this section;
——The pipe is added with β-crystalline PP-RCT pipe according to polypropylene blending ingredients (see 5.1);
—— Pipes have been added to the S6.3 series according to the pipe series. The “Relationship between Appendix B Pipe Series S and Nominal Pressure PN” was revised to “Appendix C Pipe Series S and the Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (20 ℃, 50 years) "(See 5.2, Appendix C);
——Recalculated the selection of S value of the tube series and increased the selection of β crystal PP-RCT tube and tube series S (see Chapter 6);
——Restatement of the appearance requirements of the pipe (see 7.2);
——Added requirements for the total wall thickness of the barrier layer and the adhesive layer of the pipe with the barrier layer (see 7.3.2);
——The dimension requirement of “nominal outside diameter d n 12mm” has been deleted (see 7.4.2 of the 2002 edition);
-Enlarge the nominal outer diameter to d n 200mm (see 7.3.2);
——Increase the nominal wall thickness of tube series S6.3 and indicate that the tube series S6.3 is only applicable to β-crystalline PP-RCT pipes (see 7.3.2);
——Increased the allowable deviation of wall thickness (see 7.3.4);
——List the hydrostatic strength of the pipes separately, modify some hydrostatic stress values and increase the hydrostatic strength of β-crystalline PP-RCT pipes (see 7.4);
——Added the requirements for the physical and chemical properties of β-crystalline PP-RCT pipes (see 7.5);
——Added requirements for ash, melting temperature, oxidation induction time, oxidation induction time after 95 ° C / 1000h hydrostatic test, pigment dispersion, light transmittance, and oxygen permeability (see 7.5);
——Modified the qualification requirements for simply supported beam impact tests (see 7.5);
——Modified the requirements for the melt mass flow rate and the rate of change of the corresponding polypropylene compound (see 7.5);
— Removed the requirement for opacity, put it in Table 8 of this section and modified it to transmittance (see 7.5);
——Added a note on “system applicability of pipes and fittings using mechanical connections” (see 7.7.1);
——Recalculate the test pressure value of the internal pressure test and increase the internal pressure test requirements of the β-crystalline PP-RCT pipe (see 7.7.2);
—— Deleted the “calculation method of prestressing force” and put “prestressing force” in Table 10 (see 7.7.3);
--- Increased pre-stress of β-crystalline PP-RCT (see 7.7.3);
——Appendix A in GB / T 187422.2-2002 has been deleted (see Appendix A of the 2002 edition);
-Added and modified test methods (see Chapter 8);
-Added inspection classification (see 9.1);
——Modified group approval and grouping requirements (see 9.2.1, 9.2.2);
——Increased the requirements for type inspection items (see 9.3);
——Added requirements for factory inspection items, and explained the hydrostatic test of β-form PP-H, PP-B, PP-R, and β-form PP-RCT pipes (see 9.4.1);
——Modified the sampling plan for normal inspection, the qualified quality level 6.5 was changed to the acceptance quality limit (AQL) 4.0, and the “batch range” was increased (see 9.4.2);
——Added control point inspection requirements (see 9.5);
——Added requirements for type inspection items (see 9.6.2);
——Modified the time requirements for type inspection (see 9.6.3);
——Modify “non-conforming batch” to “non-conforming batch (or product)” (see 9.7);
——Modified the content of the product name in the mark (see 10.1.1);
——The marking requirements of production batch number, non-exposed pipes and pipes with barrier layers have been added to the contents of the marking (see 10.1.1);
-Removed the clause that should not indicate the PN value in order to prevent confusion during use (see 10.1.3 of the 2002 edition);
—— Deleted the requirement that “the mass of each package is generally not more than 25kg, which can also be determined through consultation according to user requirements” (see 10.2 of the 2002 edition);
——Informative appendix “Structural changes of this part compared with ISO 15874-2: 2013” (see Appendix A);
——Added an informative appendix “Technical differences between this section and ISO 15874-2: 2013 and their causes” (see Appendix B);
——Informative appendix "System Applicability" (see Appendix D) has been added.
This part uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 15874-2: 2013 "Plastic piping systems for hot and cold water equipment polypropylene-Part 2: Pipes" (English version).
Compared with ISO 15874-2: 2013, this section has more structural adjustments. Appendix A lists the comparison between the chapter number in this part and the chapter number in ISO 15874-2: 2013.
There are technical differences between this part and ISO 15874-2: 2013. A list of corresponding technical differences and their causes is given in Appendix B.
