Announcement on the release of the national standard "Construction Rules for Concrete Structure Engineering"

The "Construction Code for Concrete Structure Engineering" is now approved as the national standard, numbered GB 50666-2011, and will be implemented as of August 1, 2012. Among them, sections 4.1.2, 5.1.3, 5.2.2, 6.1.3, 6.4.4.10, 7.2.4 (2), 7.2.10, 7. Articles 6.3 (1), 7.6.4, and 8.1.3 (paragraphs) are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented.
This specification is published by China Construction Industry Press organized by the Standard Quota Research Institute of our Ministry.

Foreword

This code is based on the requirements of the “Ministry of Construction and Standards Development and Revision Plan for 2007 (First Batch)” issued by the former Ministry of Construction (Jianbiao [2007] No. 125), and is jointly organized by China Academy of Building Sciences Units are compiled.
This code is a general standard for the construction of concrete structures, and proposes the basic requirements for construction management and process control of concrete structures. While controlling construction quality, this code strengthens requirements for energy conservation, land conservation, water conservation, material conservation, and environmental protection in order to implement national technical and economic policies and reflect the concept of sustainable development in the construction field. This specification actively adopts new technologies, new processes and new materials.
In the process of compiling this code, it summarizes the practical experience and research results of China's concrete structure engineering construction in recent years, draws on relevant international and foreign advanced standards, conducts a number of special studies, and extensively solicits opinions from relevant parties. The content was repeatedly discussed, coordinated and revised, and finally reviewed and finalized.
This specification is divided into 11 chapters and 6 appendices. The main contents are: general rules, terms, basic regulations, formwork engineering, reinforcing steel engineering, prestressed engineering, concrete preparation and transportation, cast-in-situ structural engineering, prefabricated structural engineering, winter, high temperature and rain construction, environmental protection, etc.
The provisions marked in bold in this code are mandatory and must be strictly enforced.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is responsible for the management and interpretation of mandatory provisions, and the China Academy of Building Sciences is responsible for the interpretation of specific technical content.
