Announcement of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on the release of the industry standard "Environmental and Sanitary Standards for Construction Sites"

The "Environmental and Sanitary Standards for Construction Sites of Construction Projects" is now approved as the industry standard, numbered JGJ 146-2013, and will be implemented as of June 1, 2014. Among them, Articles 4.2.1, 4.2.5, 4.2.6, and 5.1.6 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original "Environmental and Sanitary Standards for Construction Sites" JGJ 146-2004 was abolished at the same time.
This regulation is published by China Construction Industry Press organized by the Standard Quota Research Institute of our Ministry.

Foreword

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's Notice on Printing and Distributing the <2013 Project Construction Standards and Specifications Development and Revision Plan> (Jianbiao [2012] No. 6), the standard preparation team has conducted in-depth investigations and studies, and carefully summarized its practical experience with reference Advanced international standards, and amended this standard on the basis of extensive consultation.
The main technical contents of this standard are: General provisions; 2. Terminology; 3. Basic regulations; 4. 4. Green construction; 5. Environmental hygiene.
The main technical contents of the revision of this standard are: Added "Terminology" section; 2. 2. "Basic Regulations" added requirements for occupational health; 3. 3. Add "Energy Conservation Resources" chapter in the "Green Construction" chapter to increase the requirements for green construction; Chapter "Environmental Sanitation" adds requirements for food hygiene.
The provisions in this standard marked with bold type are mandatory and must be strictly implemented.
